Plans are underway to build a 35,000 square foot facility for the Northwest Kidney Center. The design is consistent with what is becoming a building standard for the campus: warm brick with attractive pre-cast paneling, modulated facades and graceful details. The Kidney Center is further set off by an inviting landscaped pedestrian area at the corner that softens the presence of busy Cherry Street. The estimated completion time for the Kidney Center is early Summer of 2008.

Work is under way on the new parking garage expansion at 16th & Jefferson, bringing an additional 503 stalls to the Cherry Hill campus. The structure has underground parking as well as three stories of above grade parking with an entrance at 15th Avenue and Jefferson Street. It is expected to open in the Spring of 2008.
The garage was designed with an eye for form as well as function; the brick and cast in place concrete with many aesthetic details is inspired by the signature buildings on the campus notably, James Tower and the Power Plant. Three stories of below grade parking allow for an attractive, graduated interface with the neighborhood. Sabey Corporation worked actively with neighbors through the Cherry Hill Standing Advisory Committee, to provide a community perspective on the project.
