Swedish Medical Center Cherry Hill Campus Citizens' Standing Advisory Committee

The Cherry Hill Standing Advisory Committee (SAC) is the official advisory body to the city of Seattle on campus development governed by the Major Institution Master Plan. This group of neighbors and other interested parties serve as a connection between the institution and the neighborhood.

As a representative group of adjacent community members and others who are interested in the Swedish Medical Center Cherry Hill Campus, the SAC advises the Institution and the City of Seattle on matters related to the review of projects deriving from, or related to, the Providence* Medical Center Final Compiled Major Institution Master Plan (the Plan) in order to achieve a balance of public benefits on the growth and change of the Institution with the need to maintain the livability and vitality of the adjacent neighborhoods. This is accomplished by periodically reviewing the status of the Plan, any Master Use Permits that require a comment period or discretionary decision and any amendments and renewals of the Plan.

Meetings are typically held on the third Tuesday of the month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Swedish Education and Conference Center on the first floor of the James Tower. Click Here for Swedish Education and Conference Center locator map. If you would like to receive email notice of upcoming meetings, please contact Steve Sheppard at the City of Seattle, Department of Neighborhoods. Contact information is provided below.

Current, recent past and archived materials can be found at the SAC's official website, www.providencecac.org

*The name of the campus was recently changed from Providence to Cherry Hill
