Howard Hanson Dam - The Facts

The Howard Hanson Dam and the possibility of the Green River flooding have been widely discussed in the media over the past few weeks. Sabey Corporation has been actively working for months with the government agencies directly responsible for managing the potential increased water flows in the Green River, and subsequently to the Duwamish River, to determine any potential impacts to the Intergate.East Technology Campus (Intergate.East). We are pleased to confirm what we have always believed, that Intergate.East is not in danger of flooding from any increased water flows in the Green and Duwamish Rivers. Hillman Mitchell, the Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Tukwila, stated, "No map has ever shown Intergate.East in an inundation zone due to activity related to the Howard Hanson Dam".

More information about maps and other resources will be posted here as they become available.
