The James Tower Life Sciences Community emerged from the renovation of the former Providence Hospital with a dramatic new core, a revitalization of its distinctive beaux-arts architecture and a new purpose: to provide a state-of-the-art facility to support the academic, research, laboratory and technology-based services essential to modern health care.
James Tower is located at the east end of the Swedish Medical Center/Providence campus in the heart of Seattle 's medical community.
Among its occupants are Laboratory Corporation of America, Swedish Medical Center's Executive Health and Center for CardioVascular Wellness, Swedish NeuroScience Specialists, Swedish Heart & Vascular Clinic, Seattle Cardiology, Seattle CyberKnife, Accium BioSciences, Seattle University's College of Nursing Clinical Performance Laboratory, the Seattle Science Foundation, The Polyclinic, Minor and James Medical and Swedish's new conferencing center.
