Commercial Property Manager

Position Summary
This position is responsible for all phases of the property management operation for a multiple building portfolio including: office, high tech, warehouse and medical uses.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage the day to day property management building operations.
  • Develop and maintain effective tenant relations and retention.
  • Develop and execute building operating budgets.
  • Reconcile annual operating budgets.
  • Plan and administer long and short term strategic planning.
  • Vendor management to include: managing vendor performance and contract negotiation and execution.
  • Collaborate with others in the organization to plan and execute strategic direction.
Skills & Personal Characteristics
  • A minimum of 3 years of related commercial experience.
  • Willingness to learn and execute all areas of property management.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and understanding of the budget process.
  • Strong customer service/people/team building skills.
  • Courteous professional, respectful rapport with peers and subordinates.
  • Ability to read, understand and abstract leases and contracts.
  • Strong computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to draft quality organized letters, reports, memos.
  • Ability to recognize and require high quality maintenance work.
  • Understanding of the property management accounting process.
  • Proven ability to work in a team atmosphere
