Position Summary
This position is responsible for all phases of the property management operation for a multiple building portfolio including: office, high tech, warehouse and medical uses.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day property management building operations.
- Develop and maintain effective tenant relations and retention.
- Develop and execute building operating budgets.
- Reconcile annual operating budgets.
- Plan and administer long and short term strategic planning.
- Vendor management to include: managing vendor performance and contract negotiation and execution.
- Collaborate with others in the organization to plan and execute strategic direction.
Skills & Personal Characteristics
- A minimum of 3 years of related commercial experience.
- Willingness to learn and execute all areas of property management.
- Strong financial analysis skills and understanding of the budget process.
- Strong customer service/people/team building skills.
- Courteous professional, respectful rapport with peers and subordinates.
- Ability to read, understand and abstract leases and contracts.
- Strong computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to draft quality organized letters, reports, memos.
- Ability to recognize and require high quality maintenance work.
- Understanding of the property management accounting process.
- Proven ability to work in a team atmosphere
