Office and Mixed Use

Sabey has built many types of office and mixed-use space, often finding the greatest opportunity in renovating existing properties. We understand the value of old bones; they are sometimes construction marvels for which the mold has been broken. The Elliott Avenue North building, once a dowdy home to the Western Farmers Association sat empty until it was transformed into a flagship of Seattle's nascent biotech industry on its incomparable site next to Elliott Bay. Similarly, Northtown Mall in Spokane was a windswept and languishing outdoor mall until Sabey developed it into a dazzling, super-regional retail center.

More recently, the 1910 Providence Hospital was renovated and redeveloped into the James Tower Life Sciences Community; now home to some of Seattle's most advanced clinics along with the Seattle Science Foundation. The complex is being developed by Sabey and Swedish and is now known as the Swedish Cherry Hill Campus.

Sabey is currently working on the redevelopment of the Original Rainier Brewery in Georgetown. This colorful and historic property will provide a unique home to a variety of mixed uses.
