HIDDEN CITY GAMES LLC

Hidden City Games

Hidden City Games was founded several years ago by Peter Adkison, one of the founders of Wizards of the Coast. Hidden City Games publishes Clout and Bella Sara. Bella Sera is an interactive on-line game aimed at the 7-12 year old audience. It's a fantasy game with interactive collectible cards where that player raises and cares for their horses. Think of it as an equine Sims with a positive message. Developed by a Danish company, Hidden City holds the distribution rights in the US and Canada. www.hiddencitygames.com

THE PEOPLE BEHIND HIDDEN CITY GAMES

Our introduction to Hidden City Games originates from Chris Prentice from our affiliation with Kibble and Prentice to fulfill our 401(k) administration needs. Chris' father, Arnie, has been a fixture in Seattle business for years and his investment acumen has rubbed off on Chris in the form of a passion for consumer product companies. His extra effort in keeping us in mind is much appreciated.

SAMBAZON INC.

Sambazon Inc.

Sambazon is a San Clemente, California producer of Acai, a Brazilian berry from the Amazon having unique anti-oxidant and Omega fat content. This is an organically produced product, processed in their Brazilian plant, and shipped frozen to the US. It's a big hit in Brazil as a breakfast item with banana and granola. In addition to marketing frozen Acai through grocers, Sambazon supplies the likes of Jamba Juice and Juice It Up! They now account for 10% of total frozen fruit sales in the natural foods channels and have recently achieved profitability.www.sambazon.com

THE PEOPLE BEHIND SAMBAZON

How did we get to the Amazon to check out founders Ryan and Jeremy Black? We didn't, but our good friend Scott Greenberg did! Scott has introduced us in the past to Sahale Snacks and has an eye on the healthy food arena. His years of securities law experience, which continues at K&L Gates, started with work for Microsoft and Starbucks. So he has a pretty good eye for success.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND SAHALE SNACKS

Edmond Sanctis and Josh Schroeter are fantastic entrepreneurs and stewards of investor funds. We have great admiration for them and their team as they work 24/7 to fulfill customer demand - a great problem for a young company to have. Our common link is Scott Greenberg of Preston, Gates and Ellis, a co-investor and great friend.

The Wild Ginger and The Triple Door

Mann Building LLC owns and operates the Wild Ginger Restaurant and The Triple Door venue in downtown Seattle. We serve on their advisory board and provide construction, real estate, and accounting advice. We have worked closely with them to support their evolution from a family-owned restaurant to a dynamic business operation with a vision for the future. We are pleased to be a part of their team and look for more good things from their organization. Check out the acts coming to the Triple Door at www.thetripledoor.net or book your Wild Ginger reservations (or meal to go) at www.wildginger.net.

STARBUCKS

Starbucks

Starbucks legendary coffee now is served daily in its cozy niche at the James Tower on the Swedish Providence campus. Deep, comfortable chairs, Starbucks characteristic warm yet sleek design, a fireplace and a Plaza seat in the sun make this The Third Place for employees, visitors, and neighbors. Seven days a week, people drop by to enjoy drinks, pastry and light meals, served up in Starbucks trademark style with a Sabey twist in our franchised location. While we can't claim that we helped build the now iconic name (although we did build their first roasting plant and headquarters building), we are very pleased with this investment in the comfort of everyone on the campus.
